Best-of-breed antispam and antivirus protection
For antispam protection, Ninja Blade uses the Cloudmark™ antispam engine which provides
superior signature-based detection against spam, phishing, and email spoofing. To protect
against viruses and zero-day threats, Ninja Blade incorporates BitDefender's best-in-class
antivirus technology. BitDefender's antivirus engine provides comprehensive protection against
viruses, backdoors, trojans, and other malicious threats, certified by Virus Bulletin, ICSA
Labs and Checkmark.
Uses the MessageSystem carrier-class MTA
The foundation of Ninja Blade is its use of MessageSystems' carrier-class MTA (Message
Transfer Agent), capable of handling millions of unique messages per hour - making it
one of the fastest solutions on the market today.
Comprehensive, rules-based email management
Ninja Blade's management tools allow administrators to easily implement rules for both inbound
and outbound email. A variety of rules can be created based on a number of email message
properties such as body, sender IP, header, or subject, with the ability to add further
custom rules for even more powerful filtering.
Global attachment filtering and disclaimers
Using Ninja Blade's pre-loaded filtering lists of attachment file types for both inbound and
outbound filtering, administrators have the ability to select varying levels of attachment
blocking ranging from light to heavy filtering, with each pre-loaded list containing an
expanding set of file types to filter. Ninja Blade also includes built-in global disclaimers
for all outbound email in text or HTML formats.
Easy deployment and administration; integrates with Active Directory
Ninja Blade's easy-to-use, advanced web-based interface enables administrators to install,
configure and manage their entire gateway email security from any web browser. With easy
setup and fast deployment, Ninja Blade can be installed and configured in minutes with a
minimum of configuration effort needed. With real-time Active Directory and LDAP integration,
Ninja Blade provides hands-off maintenance and seamlessly integrates with existing IT infrastructures.
Flexible reporting
Ninja Blade delivers flexible reporting capabilities using a set of pre-defined reports with the
ability to view reports within the interface or email reports on a scheduled basis. Reports include
information at the system, component, and/or user level. Reporting options can show the number
of inbound mail messages scanned, number of spam deleted or marked, number of viruses intercepted,
number of filters triggered, percentage of viruses by name, disclaimers used, and more.
